Monterosi is a village in the Italian province of Viterbo in the Lazio region. Celebrating the occasion of the third Tomasso Albani, a national competition for wind orchestras, this beautiful lyrical composition demonstrates the glorious full sound of the concert band. Dur: 4:15 (Grade 3)

Moonlight Serenade is often said to be the Glenn Miller Orchestras signature tune, capturing the very best of what it had to offer. It was recorded for the first time in 1939 and only made the B-side of the disc with Sunrise Serenade featuring on the A-side. Moonlight Serenade gained very rapid and unexpected success and this arrangement will give your concert band that famous big band sound!

The English bishop Reginald Heber wrote Brightest and Best of the Sons of the Morning for the festival of Epiphany. These lyrics were published in 1811 in the Christian Observer, but were set to music and issued in hymnbooks only after Heber's death, by English composer and organist James Proctor Harding.
