During our nation's attempts to control COVID-19 and until circumstances allow us to resume teaching face-to-face in schools we have moved our lesson delivery online. Our usual team of expert teachers offer the same lesson as your child would receive at school but remotely via the Skype platform.

Creative Music for Schools specialises in instrumental music tuition for school children of all ages. Our programs have been operating successfully since 1988. We conduct during and after school music programs in around 80 Melbourne schools. Your child can feel safe in our knowledge, experience and professionalism.

Smarter Children and More Confidence

Our experience indicates that children's level of self-confidence and ability to concentrate generally improve as they maintain their music practice. Overall school performance can also be enhanced. But perhaps most importantly, learning an instrument can create a lifelong love affair, not just with music, but for learning new skills and developing one's potential in all areas of life.

Small Groups or Private Lessons

Children are taught in small groups, usually 2-3, to ensure personal attention and maximum learning potential. Private lessons are also available if required. The emphasis for the student is on fun and enjoyment while our teachers integrate the necessary instrumental technique through a variety of practical approaches. Children are introduced to reading music and music theory form the very beginning.

The programs offer hands-on tuition in keyboard, guitar, drums, woodwind, brass, voice and violin at selected schools. Creative Music teachers are trained, experienced and responsible teachers dedicated to your child's development and progress.
