Hank Mobley's Roll Call album (Blue Note CDP7 46823) featuring Freddie Hubbard and Art Blakey is representative of the exciting hard-bop Blue Note recordings of the 1960s. This chart features an interplay between Latin and swing feels, and between the horns and the rhythm section.
