Band

This traditional Latin tune makes a very nice addition to your concert repertoire. Included is a feature spot for percussion and the bass part instruments and plenty of tutti rhythms for the entire band.

Here is the distinctive Duke Ellington classic in a very easy setting for band. By using a moderately fast tempo in 4/4 Michael was able to capture the feel of the original using nothing faster than a quarter note in the wind parts. The percussion are featured briefly and compliment the style of the arrangement very nicely.

One of the most recognizable of all Duke Ellington tunes, this distinctive composition combines the styles of Latin and big band jazz. Richard Saucedo gives this classic an impressive new setting for concert band.
