First known as the award-winning arranger for the Claude Thornhill Orchestra, Evans is perhaps best known as the arranger/conductor of four albums with Miles Davis, as well as for leading his own innovative orchestra. This folio contains 15 titles from his entire career, including: Anita's Dance Arab Dance Flute Song Jambangle Jelly Rolls Zee Zee and more. The arrangements were prepared from Gil's sketches and scores held by the Evans estate. Also includes a biography and discography.
