The 1700 Series features a .450-inch bore with a hand crafted 4-inch one-piece hand hammered bell plus a third valve slide throw ring.
The 1700 piccolo trumpet features a .450" bore, a yellow brass body and a specially designed 4.0" handcrafted bell. A wonderful addition to any players collection, the 1700 provides an extended range that effortlessly addresses the most demanding descant passages with amazing stability and accuracy. A two piece valve casing ensures better alignment and smooth performance for the four precision-lapped Monel pistons. interchangeable Bb and A leadpipes increase performance versatility. The XO Series Tourlitecase for piccolo trumpet contains a dual compartment with storage provisions for Bb or C trumpet.
