An original work, it explores the theater overture style as one of the important musical styles to emerge in the 20th century. Written for the Wheaton, Illinois Municipal Band's 60th anniversary, this single movement work includes six sections: Opening Fanfare, Bright Two-Step, Romantic Ballad, Soft Shoe Novelty, Latin Production Number, and Jazz/Rock Finale.
